Levain Bakery Tiktok content — cookies!

A lighthearted content series designed to promote Levain’s cookie home delivery service. A few pieces in this series are starring and co-written with real-life Levain devotee, Esme Blegvad. Others were created using existing UGC from the brand’s owned channels. 🍪

KARA #youbeyou

I was thrilled to hear from Sarah, the creative force behind KARA bags, for a #youbeyou content series collaboration. As a long-time admirer of this fun-loving brand, the series is their visual rendition of karaoke—a playful space to have fun and express myself authentically. We created the following four very short films that live on Instagram and Tiktok.

Perrotin Store

The ask here was to create engaging content with objects from the Perrotin Gallery Store for their owned channels.

Revlon

We were tapped to create some highly stylized, art directed images for Revlon's social channels. We decided to keep our approach fun and accessible while simultaneously pushing a style that allowed Revlon's products to shine. Featuring an array of nail polishes, press-on nails, lipsticks, lashes, and glosses, we utilized a combination of deconstructed imagery, absurdism, color paletting, and geometry.

Ports 1961

I partnered with Ports 1961 to help promote their FW20 line. We developed concepts together that we’re designed around clothing and accessories from their fall/winter launch. Since we were still mostly in lockdown, I shot these on my rooftop in Brooklyn.

The Mano Lisa

Given the opportunity to do an ad hoc collaboration with artists Ambera Wellman and Giulia Marsico for Human Hotel, we conceived of something that was both technically challenging and a well-rounded representation of our aesthetics. We are all inspired by classic European art and independently, we often work with distortion of the human figure; so this direction seemed to occur naturally once we put our heads together.

When editing this all together, my main goal was to make this look as real as possible. By “real” I mean that this digital sculpture could possibly exist within our familiar physical world; the elements appear to comply with laws of light, shadow, gravity, and movement as they would in reality.

This looping short, was nominated as a finalist in the Giphy Film Fest, 2018.
