The Marías: Paranoia

Music performance, interview, and photography

I was brought on by Grand Crew to art direct The Marías’ performance, shaping the visual world through set design. Drawing from the artist interview and their creative language, I translated thematic cues into spatial form.

Blue became the anchor, carrying over from The Marías’ album visuals to define Cold Solitude—a minimal, icy interior lit by stark white beams from a window and door. The space suggested isolation yet felt calm and surreal. Collaborating with the production designer, photographer, and director Geoff Levy, we created a contained world that mirrored both the artist’s tone and the Radar framework.
